Hamster Kombat Gears Up for Major Milestone with HMSTR Token Launch on TON
The popular Telegram-based game, Hamster Kombat, is preparing for a significant event—the launch of its HMSTR token on The Open Network (TON) later this month. This highly anticipated launch includes an airdrop for millions of players and a rewards campaign through Binance’s Launchpool. As announced on Thursday, billions of tokens will be distributed to both loyal players and Binance users in specific regions.
100 Billion Tokens for Binance Campaign
The anonymous development team behind Hamster Kombat has revealed that the total supply of HMSTR tokens will be 100 billion. Of this, 3 billion tokens have been allocated to the Binance Launchpool campaign. This initiative allows Binance users in eligible regions to stake Binance Coin (BNB) and FDUSD stablecoin to earn a share of HMSTR tokens. However, this offer is not available to users in the United States.
The rewards campaign will run from September 19 to September 26, offering Binance users and Hamster Kombat players an early chance to claim their share of the new tokens, just before the official HMSTR token launch.
Importance of the Binance Launchpool Campaign
The Binance Launchpool has been a successful platform for launching gaming tokens throughout 2024. Recent token launches, such as Pixels (PIXEL) and Portal (PORTAL), saw users stake billions of dollars in BNB and FDUSD to earn rewards. The Hamster Kombat token launch is expected to generate similar excitement, providing Binance users a chance to earn tokens while participating in one of Telegram’s most popular gaming events.
Growing Popularity of Hamster Kombat
With over 300 million players, Hamster Kombat has become immensely popular. However, this massive player base raises questions about whether the TON blockchain can manage the increased demand. In late August, TON experienced two outages, sparking concerns about its ability to handle the expected surge in traffic during the token launch.
Other Major Token Launches on TON
In addition to Hamster Kombat, several other major Telegram-based games are preparing for their own token launches in September. Titles such as Catizen and Rocky Rabbit are set to release their TON-based tokens in the weeks leading up to the HMSTR launch. Meanwhile, the Elon Musk-inspired X Empire game will follow closely behind with its token release shortly after the HMSTR launch.
Airdrop Plans and Distribution
The Hamster Kombat team plans to airdrop 60% of the total HMSTR token supply—approximately 60 billion tokens—to early players of the game. While specific details about how these tokens will be allocated have not been fully disclosed, the team has mentioned that distribution will be based on players’ progress within the game. This airdrop is expected to be one of the largest ever, rewarding early adopters and encouraging new participants to join the expanding Telegram gaming ecosystem. Players are encouraged to stay updated on further announcements regarding the airdrop allocation process.
